Goose Advisory was founded on a simple belief: businesses make better decisions when they have access to the right experience, expertise and insight.
Our roots are in the insurance industry, where we've spent more than 25 years working across strategy, trading, distribution, partnerships and business leadership. That experience has shaped how we think — understanding what matters and challenging assumptions.
We believe in independent thinking, sound judgement and straightforward, practical advice. We don't arrive with predetermined answers or complicated frameworks for their own sake. We work alongside clients to understand their challenges, explore the options and turn decisions into action.
We're building Goose as a collaborative and flexible advisory business, supported by a growing network of trusted specialists. We value different perspectives, strong relationships and a shared commitment to doing good work.
Our ambition is to take this approach beyond insurance, working with businesses across sectors where we can make a meaningful difference.
Jamie McCann
Founder, Goose Advisory
Jamie has held senior leadership roles with Aviva, Direct Line Group, Ageas, BGL Insurance and Markerstudy, spanning pricing, underwriting, distribution, partnerships and business leadership.
His experience includes developing insurance propositions, building analytical and underwriting capabilities, and managing major partnerships and portfolios. He has worked across strategy, operational leadership and delivery, giving him a broad perspective on the challenges facing businesses.
Alongside Goose Advisory, Jamie is Chair of the Board of Trustees at Nene Park Trust. He holds the FT Non-Executive Director Diploma and is undertaking executive coaching training at Henley Business School.
